Rooted in Kottayam, Kerala, Her Sense is the next chapter of a journey that began over 25 years ago with Body Sense, a tailoring and garment-making business founded and nurtured by Shemitha Jose, Diya’s mother.
What started as a passion for quality tailoring slowly grew into a trusted craft built on careful workmanship, lasting relationships, and a genuine love for creating clothes.
Today, Her Sense carries that legacy forward — reimagined for the woman of today.
For more than two decades, Body Sense has been quietly creating garments from its stitching unit in Kottayam.

Growing up around this world of fabrics, patterns, tailoring, and craftsmanship, Diya Jose was inspired to create something of her own — while staying connected to the values she grew up with.

At Her Sense, we believe that the beauty of a garment begins long before you wear it. From selecting fabrics to developing patterns, stitching, finishing, and quality checking, every step receives personal attention.
Our garments are designed and made at our own facility in Kottayam, by people who understand the craft and genuinely care about what they create.
We choose thoughtful details over unnecessary excess, and quality over quantity. Because when something is made with care, you can feel the difference.

We don’t believe in mass production or fast fashion. Many of our pieces are made only after you place an order. This allows us to focus on quality, fit, comfort, and finishing, while reducing unnecessary production.
It also gives us the flexibility to offer customisations where possible — because we believe clothing should feel personal. Your clothes should feel like they were made for you, not simply picked off a shelf.
We intentionally create limited pieces for each design. For us, this isn’t just about exclusivity. It’s about making every garment feel considered and special.
